About Heather

Prior to launching Heather Northrop Consulting LLC, Heather was Vice President of Development at the Child Mind Institute, where she ran Development across the organization’s New York and California offices. Before that, she served as Vice President at CCS Fundraising, where she managed transformative fundraising campaigns and special projects for the Horace Mann School, Rutgers University, The Frick Collection, and The Public Theater. Prior to joining CCS, Heather was Vice President of Client Relations at Chilton Investment Company. Her interest in nonprofit work began during a summer internship at Save the Children.


Heather graduated cum laude from Bucknell University. She enjoys hiking, yoga, reading, traveling, local volunteering, and spending time in Central Park and Riverside Park.
